Blank PDF
Files?
There
is a known problem with Microsoft Internet Explorer and Adobe PDF files.
We have confirmed the problem with IE 5.5 and IE 6.0 If you get
a blank or incomplete page, or an error message that "the connection has
timed out" then we recommend you use one of the following workarounds.
-
Save
the file by right-clicking the link to the pdf file and selecting
"Save Target As..." (Macintosh: click-hold).
This will allow you to save the pdf file to your local computer.
Save it to somewhere easy to find, such as your desktop. You
can then exit the web browser and open the local file.
-
Use
another browser such as Netscape,
Mozilla, or Opera.
We regret this inconvenience caused by 3rd party incompatibles.
You can read what
Microsoft recommends, and what
Adobe has to say about this problem, but we've not found these recommendations
helpful.
